Ashdod port Masada & Dead Sea tour:

This day we will visit two of the world famous places:

The Dead Sea: the lowest point on earth, where you can enjoy its minerals and float on the water.
Masada : the famous desert fortress that become a symbol of Jewish heroism after the destruction of the second temple.

We will leave Ashdod port and drive for about 2.5 hours; on route we will experience the changing of the scenery, from ever green to the dryness of the desert.
Drive via the plain of Beer Sheba, pass by the ancient city of Arad, we will descent to the lowest point on earth 420 meter below Sea Level (~1400 Feet).

Ascend to Masada by Cable Car, and have a walking tour for about 1.5 hours, visiting Masada most famous sites: The northern palace with its amazing view of the Dead Sea, the store rooms, synagogue, and the breaching point in the wall.

We will not only visit those places, but we will try to understand how those zealots could survive in the desert, have food & water supply, and why they choose to die as free people!

From there we will descend by cable car back to the bus.

Now we will have a lunch break and free time enjoy the Dead Sea, and chance to buy Dead Sea products.

Visit Hotel for Spa & Lunch.
Lunch & visit a private beach.

After we enjoyed the Dead Sea and felt its magic, will had back to Ashdod.

This tour requires long walking on unpaved/uneven terrain and some steps, comfortable shoes recommended, People with walking disabilities should consult with the guide.

Water: During day time it's very hot & sunny, you must drink enough water! please bring Hat & sun protection.
