Jerusalem Hotels

Jerusalem is a must stop when visiting Israel. Most tourist need to spend at least 2 or 3 nights in order to visit all of Jerusalem's most popular sites.

The city Hotels can be found in 3 parts of the city:

The new / western city until 1967 this was the Israeli part of the city with mainly Jews living there. The new part of the city has large shopping malls and also a lot of smaller oriental shops.

The Eastern part has a mixture of Jewish and Arab neighborhoods. There are nice and new hotels with good service.

The old city is the heart of the city and contains the holy sites for the major religions. To live at the heart and enjoy the atmosphere of the city one can find some small and basic hotels, but you should be ready to get up early in the morning while the local people get up for their prayers.
