The Dead Sea ? How low can you go !!!!!
At the lowest point on Earth you can have one of the most enjoyable experiences of your life: Floating at the water of the Dead Sea.
The surface and shores of the Dead Sea are around 423 m / 1388 ft below sea level making it Earth's lowest elevation on land.
Due to its high salinity (close to 34%), you can just relax and flow on the water.
You can enjoy its deep blue color, the Minerals, the Mud and not to forget the tranquility of the Judean Desert.
It's a life time Experience!
These days, due to its low water level, the Dead Sea is divided into two parts:
The Southern part:
In the Southern part you will find the Ein Bokek area.
Most of Dead Sea Hotels & Resorts are in this area.
Here you can visit one of the Health Resorts, have good lunch and use all possible Hotel facilities: Spa, Indoor hot and cold Pools, Sauna and the beach which is located right next to the hotels.
Another famous place close to the Dead Sea and the Ein Bokek is Masada.
We highly recommend you to visit the Ein Bokek Area.

The Northern part:
The Northern part is the more uncultivated part of the Dead Sea but also here you can go down to the water and enjoy its natural black Mud.
Most tourists who visit just the north part of the Dead Sea visit Kalya Beach where you can have a changing room, hot showers, and enjoy a cool refreshing Beer beside the Salt water.
The only thing not to forget is that here at the Northern part you have to walk about 5 min. to get to the water.
We suggest Kalya Beach to people that have only limited time for the visit to the Dead Sea and want also to visit some other places in the area, such Qumran / Jerusalem.
